The revised version without Tex's name, I guess?

Tex's Magic Adventure Chapter 1
~~~~
One day, Mr. Tex(T), a soon-to-be junior and senior teacher at a local private school
was walking home from the gym when a horribly savage looking armored man stepped out from
the shadows.
"Tex," the figure said in a low, rough voice, "you must come with me. It is your destiny."
Mr. (T) was taken aback by this man's request and appearance said, "Well, I would, but
I have to get home to my pregnant wife."
The figure scoffed. "Wives are not as important as destiny. Come." And without further
ado, he grabbed Mr. (T)'s arm and whisked him away into nothingness.
When the pair rematerialized, they were standing in the middle of a dank Forest. The rough
man turned to Mr. (T) and said, "Now then, there is a vicious dragon up in the
highest, darkest cloud that needs slaying, and it's up to you to do it."
Mr. (T) was perplexed by this sudden request and inquired, "But why me? Why not you or
anyone else without a pregnant wife to take care of?"
The man smirked and growled, "Because it is your destiny." He turned to walk off before
stopping and approaching Mr. (T). He reached into his breastplate, pulled out a small
stack of cards, and handed them to the now very confused teacher before him.
"You'll need those," said the armored man with a grin. He turned once again to leave before
Mr. (T) called after him, "Wait! Can I have a name for a face?"
The savage man stopped momentarily, and without turning to face Tex, simply said, "Garruk,"
before disappearing once again into nothingness.
Mr. (T) stood motionless for a moment, hardly able to believe that moments before he had
been walking back to his home and his pregnant wife. He looked around, then, remembering
what the man calling himself "Garruk" had said, looked up to try and see the highest,
darkest cloud. He found instead, however, a thick canopy of trees that impeded his view
of the sky.
"Well this is just peachy...I should have given that guy a vocab quiz while he was here,"
thought Mr. (T) dryly, tittering a bit as he looked down at the cards in his hands.
It took him little time to exclaim, astonished, "These are Magic cards!" Mr. (T)
thumbed through the cards, gazing dumbfounded at them, thinking, "What on Earth am I
supposed to do with these?"
As he examined his cards, there was a low rumbling growl from a nearby bush. Mr. (T)
froze as he heard the sound, hoping against all hope that it wasn't what he thought
it was. But, confirming his worst fears, out of the bush jumped a vicious looking Nactal
Savage. It took one look at Mr. (T), and, presuming him to be good meat, took a giant
lunge at him.
Tex's Magic Adventure Chapter 4
Tex's mind was working fast, yet he could not think of a possible way out of the problem
now baring it's teeth at him. "No! I can't die here," thought Mr. (T), "I have a
pregnant wife to take care of!"
With this idea burning in his mind, Tex lept to his feet and stared the Nactal Savage square
in the eyes. This, however, may not have been such a good idea, as the Nactal Savage,
above all else, hates eye contact. It made a fierce slash at Mr. (T), and knocked him
clean off of his feet.
Tex was now on the ground and bleeding profusely. "Maybe," he thought as the beast reared
for the final blow, "I should have tried running away..."
Mr. (T) closed his eyes, awaiting the Savage's final blow, but it did not come.
Instead, the creature made a horrific, pained roar and there was a loud thud. Tex opened
his eyes to two things lying on the ground: the Nactal Savage, and...
"Wha...isn't that a Llanowar Elf?"
Tex's Magic Adventure Chapter 5
~~~~
Mr. (T) was right. The elf now lying on the ground, bleeding profusely from being gored
by the Nactal Savage, was indeed a Llanowar Elf. "But...but where did it come from?"
thought Mr. (T), shakily getting to his feet.

He looked down to find that most of his cards had been sent flying out of his hands from the
force of the creature's attack. Only one remained grasped in his hand. Tex turned it
over to find that, where a brilliant illustration by Kev Walker should have been, the card
was completely blank.

Mr. (T) looked from the card, to the dead elf, to the card again, then exclaimed, "BLESS
MY UNBORN CHILD, THAT ELF CAME FROM MY CARD!" Realizing this, Mr. (T) frantically
began gathering his cards off the Forest floor, not wanting to lose any of the in case
the man named Garruk had given him a card that was a rare.

After ensuring that no card was left unaccounted for on the earthy ground of the Forest, Tex
looked around at the trees and said to himself, "Well, I don't know where I'm going, but
I guess anywhere is better than this Forest." And without further ado, he took his first
step on his journey to slay the vicious dragon up in the highest, darkest cloud.

It's okay because I was posting the story.

Amending the chapters to the first post makes it too hard to post updates. This here is my thread; I play by my own rules.
